As well as being used for church activities, our hall, the Fitzwilliams Centre is busy throughout the week with community and commercial groups hiring it, either for regular fixed bookings, or on a one-off occasion.
Our main hall has a capacity of 130 people. It is used for community meetings, events put on by local government, public exhibitions, parties and so much more. A large kitchen is adjacent to the hall with excellent facilities and equipment provided. We also hold a drinks licence for the premises. The hall looks out onto a large enclosed garden, which is a great venue for bouncy castles and games for children’s parties. In the summer months, there is also a marquee in the garden which can be used by hirers.
On the ground floor, there is another small meeting room, often used by counsellors and for 1:1 consultations. Upstairs, there are two further meeting rooms with capacity for between 20 and 50 people, as well as a small kitchen and toilet facilities.
