South Aisle

Three wall plaques are to members of the Lawson family of Hall Barn; eight are to other parishioners and two remember Edmund Burke (d,1797)and his family. Three windows, designed by Ninian Comper, comprise an impressive memorial to Harriette Webster Lawson (d.1897). A fourth window commemorates Florence Smith (d. 1947).

The font is beside the South door, symbolising our entrance into the Church by baptism. The richly carved Caen stone was given by Edmund Waller in 1859 and the wooden cover by the children of the parish in the same year.
