It's Megaquest -2005  Read about the fun!!!!!

 The first ever St Mary's Holiday Club took place during the week of 15 August 2005 in the Fitzwilliams Centre and St Mary's Church, Beaconsfield. Megaquest was a fun, interactive Christian holiday club targeted primarily at St Marys Church, Junior Church and St Mary's School children in the age range 5-11.

 Children in teams participated in music, singing, indoor and outdoor games, craft activities, drama, cooking and worship. The Scripture Union resource Megaquest: God's big plan for the world was used as a basis for planning the activities.

 Megaquest teaches the shape of God's plan of salvation through the theme of a computer game. Each day a stage in God's plan is mirrored by the next level of the game and the Holiday Club activities were themed along the day's stage.

 47 members of the Church and the local community participated in the functioning of the Holiday Club over the course of the week. Roles and responsibilities included team leaders and team assistants, specialist activity leaders, music, drama, craft, registration, refreshments, setting up and clearing up and much more. Many have already committed to participating again in 2006!

 Friday 20 August: Friday Finale: end of Holiday Club party: there were approximately 140 guests  for a short act of worship in Church including drama and Megaquest songs, followed by a children’s tea in the Fitzwilliams Centre.
