As this period in the life of St. Mary & All Saints Church draws to a close, we believe that Clive and Carolynn deserve recognition for all their efforts during the past year-long interregnum.  We propose to make a presentation to both of them after the 10 a.m. service on Sunday 21^st March.  If you would like to contribute to this, please put your donation in an envelope marked “C&C” and either hand it to Pam or post it through the Parish Office letterbox in the Fitzwilliams Centre.  Cheques payable to St. Mary’s DCC please.

Count your blessings 

 The forty days of Lent provide an opportunity to reflect on all we have and to turn our attention to those around us in need.  Count your Blessings is a guide for thought, prayer and giving with donations going to Christian Aid.  Please pick up a leaflet from the back of church if you would like to help some of the World’s poorest people.  If you need any further information please speak to Margaret Mardall.  When complete after Easter, forms and cheques should be given to Margaret, 25, Howe Drive, Beaconsfield (01494 672120).  Many thanks for your help.

Mothering Sunday posies

I am after willing volunteers to collect enough materials from my house to make 30 posies and, once done, deliver back to me again.  I will provide clear instruction and demonstrate if needed – it really isn’t difficult – children over 5 can also help.  I will have everything ready from Thursday 11^th March and I need the finished posies back by lunchtime on Saturday 13^th March.  Please let me know if you feel able to help.  Many thanks Angela Shepherd 01494 677754 angeshep@sky.com

Decorating for the new Rector’s service of Institution, Induction and Installation on Tuesday 23^rd March 

We shall be decorating the church on Monday 22^nd March from 5.00-6.30 p.m.  All help warmly welcomed (including making refreshments).  Please bring scissors or secateurs.  Any donations of foliage (no trailing needed) to be left in church on Monday afternoon (no earlier as it is the annual Spring Clean).
