St Mary & All Saints Church Beaconsfield

Current pattern of Stewardship Giving

Out of an Electoral Roll of 357 people, we currently have 172 regular pledges.

Half our pledged income comes from just 29 of these pledges (16%), so St Mary's is particularly dependent on the generous commitment of a few individuals.

What are we being asked to do?

·       If you are already a regular giver, thank you very much for your support. Please take a thoughtful look at the figures presented here and consider whether you should increase your gIvmg.

·       If you are not yet one of those pledged to give regular support to St Mary's, PLEASE think carefully and honestly. Make a generous pledge and arrange to pay this by standing order. You can use the form on the back page to do this (or complete a white form from the back of the Church).

·       If you are a taxpayer, you can make your giving tax-efficient by signing a simple Gift Aid declaration and the Government will increase your donation by 25p in the £. A Gift Aid declaration is included on the back page.

·       The same tax advantage also applies if you join our regular envelope giving scheme.

·       For higher rate taxpayers, you can reclaim marginal tax relief.

This means that a gift to the Church worth £166 (say) would cost you only £100.
